Schöffel Ski wear is a clothing range for ambitious sporty skiers. Whether in deep snow, on the piste or touring, skiing means fun exploring and experiencing nature. A range that combines perfectly freedom of movement and protection from the elements - modern performance fabrics, comfortable designs and quality that lasts seasons.
The Schöffel Alena Ski Jacket is a classic princess cut women's styled jacket made from a stretch Gore-Tex waterproof fabric to offer easy movement on the mountain whilst maintaining comfort. The Primaloft lining retains warmth and yet is not too bulky, and there is plenty of storage available with a number of pockets with easy to use zips.

Our Opinion
A feature packed jacket with a classic women's cut, looks great on and has plenty of storage without affecting the feminine fit. The two way main zip is useful and less common on Gore-Tex jackets.
Is This For Me?
Another classic styled women's ski jacket, with a great cut for a superb fit without feeling restrictive. Will suit all types of skiers. Schoffel use a classic cut on their products, if you are between sizes, we would recommend that you pick the larger size to ensure a good fit.

We do not offer a next day service on skis, because we manually wax the skis fully by hand and set the bindings up prior to shipping. An email is automatically sent to the email address you enter when ordering, we cannot set skis up until we receive your reply to this email. You CAN add priority shipping to a ski order, this will move you into a priority position in the workshop for waxing and setup (Once we have your data) but is not a next day service. ** Not Available to Scottish Highlands & Islands  Please Note: Priority shipping orders need to be received by 13:30pm Monday-Thursday for a next working day delivery on in stock items. For skis this is 10am to allow us time to wax and pack your skis. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday using priority shipping will be shipped on the following Monday. Our couriers and Royal Mail do NOT collect from us on Saturday or Sunday. For a Saturday delivery please contact us.

Wearing the right garments for the conditions you are skiing in not only keeps you protected from the elements, but is essential to keep you safe on the mountain. Conditions can change at very short notice and you need to be able to adapt to the weather quickly.
This is why layering has become accepted as the best way to dress for the mountain. By having several thinner layers of clothing you can achieve two things, firstly the convenience of being able to increase or decrease layers to adapt to the conditions, and secondly encourage breathability. By having thinner breathable layers, as you work hard, sweat will not build up and start to chill you, and instead is carried away from the skin via your base layer and mid layer, to the outer jacket shell.
Layering is also convenient, as your base layer will do most of the work, meaning you can wear your mid layers and jacket for longer without fear of smelling out the après ski bar! So take a couple of base layers with you when skiing.
Legs also benefit from layering, we always encourage wearing leggings underneath trousers as it also gives additional protection, and we also offer leggings in a ¾ length for optimum fit with ski socks.
