The socks work while you are skiing to minimise miscle energy by aiding blood flow and muscle rebound. After skiing, keeping the socks on for 30-60 minutes will further aid recovery and help fight against tired aching leg muscles.
These socks acheive this and a light fit with strategic padding so feedback from the skis is not dimished, so is ideal for those seeking a precision fit ski soock for their custom ski boots.
We are often asked why someone should spend a bit more money on 1 pair of ski socks when you can often buy much cheaper socks at outlets and high street stores. The answer is simple, one good pair of ski socks will outlast several pairs of low end or 'tube' socks. Even those featuring padded areas may not have the technically designed yarns that Falke use to transport moisture away from the foot to keep the foot as dry as possible so that the elements are not allowed to compromise your comfort.

Believe the hype! These work like airline compression socks and running compression tights as seen at world cup and olympic events to help assist the muscles to be as efficient as possible reducing fatigue. The lack of wool content also is great for those who cannot wear wool next to the skin.

For the skier wanting the latest ski sock technology. Expensive but proven technology and a great gift idea for the skier who has everything.

Don't cut costs on your socks; they are the interface between your geet and your boots and therefore very important! Go for a close fit.

Socks vary in volume, that's why it's worth investing in a few pairs of good socks and sticking with the same brand and model. Look at our descriptions for the volumes of our socks. Mid-volumes remain the most popular.

We do not offer a next day service on skis, because we manually wax the skis fully by hand and set the bindings up prior to shipping. An email is automatically sent to the email address you enter when ordering, we cannot set skis up until we receive your reply to this email. You CAN add priority shipping to a ski order, this will move you into a priority position in the workshop for waxing and setup (Once we have your data) but is not a next day service. Your ski and snowboard sock makes a huge difference to boot comfort, warmth and control.
We cannot recommend strongly enough investing in good quality ski socks. Modern technical ski socks are designed to perform inside a ski or snowboard boot under the conditions you will experience.
Modern socks have padding in the right places, and then thinner material where it is not required to help transport moisture from the foot and aid a closer fit.
Moisture is the key thing to consider - you can sweat up to half a pint of water in a day’s skiing, and that sweat can collect in fabric. On a ski chair, in comes the wind chill to cool the moisture in your socks, chilling your feet. Therefore a technical sock will do a better job of keeping your feet dry and warm.
Technical ski socks are harder wearing than tube socks so you only need to buy a couple of pairs to treat your feet to the comfort they deserve. In-resort, thanks to high wicking materials, they can be hand washed in the evening and will dry overnight. Merino wool is often used for warmth without the itchy feeling some fear, or we offer wool-free alternatives for those with specific allergies.
