We are often asked to put together a starter kit for snowboard and ski tuning and waxing. You can pick up starter packs on ebay etc, but we have found many of these to be of poor quality or incorrect!

So based on the packs we put together for our servicing tuition students, we have created a starter kit so that all the basic tools required are included, and being Holmenkol will give you many years of good service.

Is This For Me?

If you visit the mountains regularly, or have a family of skis and want to do some servicing yourself, this kit gives you all the basic equipment you need.

The only items to consider adding are a ski/snowboard vice and a diamond file.

What a great kit. I added a diamond file, and I now have 4 sets of skis with perfect edges, bases ready for the off in two weeks.

A very small but too much effective tool kit, for ski tuning and waxing by your own. It is very simple to use it.

Downhill only!

An excellent kit that has been cleary well thought out. Would recommend buying the guide as it helped. I rang up to get the angle to set the edge tool too. Results were first class and all the family were happy with my efforts. Have already saved the cost of the kit over shop prices.

Excellent kit - saves a fortune

Originally bought this kit 2 years ago as we have 3 snowboards and 1 set of skis and getting them done in a shop all the time was VERY expensive. The results from using this kit are just fantastic, the boards and skis run faster than any time I've had them done in a shop. Thoroughly RECOMMENDED!
