Product Details
Hestra is located in the western uplands in the Swedish province of Smaland, surrounded by large forests. Since 1936 they have been producing some of the highest quality gloves on the market.

This balm is the very same included in the small sachet with Hestra leather gloves. it restores the water proof properties of the leather on all brands of leather gloves, and leaves the leather well fed and supple. It protects the leather from drying out, prolonging the life of your gloves.


Our Opinion
Leather is durable, supple and attractive - provided you look after it properly. To allow leather to retain its dirt and water-repellent properties, you should proof or oil your gloves regularly. Moisten the leather a little first then apply this balm, wearing you gloves makes this very easy! Remember - Too much care is better than too little.

Top notch kit, top notch service

If you have hestra leather - you need this to keep it in top notch condition. You've spent enough on the gloves, now make sure they serve you for a long time!! Edge and Wax got them to me really quickly - helpful as i was going away!!

If you're going to spend on Hestra gloves i makes sense to look after them. Does a great job of feeding leather whilst not leaving a greasy finish.

Does What It Says On The Tin

Purchased to treat a pair of Hestra Leather Ski Cross Gloves. The balm does restore the supple property of the leather and has prevented the leater from hardening while the gloves are in storage. Arrived promptly by post and Edge & Wax were forgiving of the postage for such as small item.

Hestra glove balm

Anyone would think this product is francincense it is so hard to come by. Nowhere in the Argentiere/Chamonix valley retails it despite some big chains selling the full range of Hestra gloves. The small sachets supplied with the gloves are gone in a week so praise you wise men of E & W for having it
