Holmenkol Alpha Mix Yellow Wax is an easy to apply premium universal hydrocarbon wax. It has a suggested operating temperature of +4°C to 0°C (Broadly European conditions). is optimised for softer snow, but works beyond these very well, and an iron setting of 115°C - 125°C.

Our Opinion

A great wax if you want to step up from Universal wax and use something a bit more specific to the conditions on the mountain. Selecting the right wax for the conditions can make a huge difference, and also lasts longer between waxes.

Is This For Me?

For those skiing in typical European conditions this is a great wax, and for the budding ski tech its easy to apply. Ideal when the snow is a little soft or wet, such as in the spring.

Perfect, goes on easy and lasts well, use pre season / beginning and in spring time when its not so cold, lasts all week long with no loss of slip, recomend using to finish over world cup wax for final coat.
