Product Description
K2 is concentrating on Its Baseline Technology this season and has re-mastered its entire range to push the boundaries of ski performance. With K2's baseline Technology they have combined camber with varying degrees of rocker, proving benefits of each to create a range of superior skis. This allows the camber to supply the edge hold, control and rebound, while rocker provides a greater degree of versatility, ease of use and an increased sweet spot.


The K2 Charger features a 74mm waist and brand new Speed Rocker Rechnology making it incredibly nimble, precise and easy to initiate on the groomers. the Charger features a Metal Laminate Hybritech constuction that is firm and solid underfoot yet lighter weight in the tip and tail for quicker, more accurate turns.

Features of the Charger include:

Speed Rocker: Speed rocker is designed for firmer snow. This slightly elevated tip and increased tip length provides effortless initiation and flawless transitions, while camber along the rest of the running surface delivers race-ski precision, power and edge hold.

MOD Technology and MOD Monic: This functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski providing a stronger edge hold and a higher degree of power and control. MOD is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected. They have altered the structure of the Mod Monic (this is the solid zinc mass that works in conjunction with Mod Structure to focus mass damping at a targeted area) for both mens and womens skis. On the mens skis you will now find that the Mod Monic is slightly heavier and X shaped to further compliment the MOD structure form.

Hybritech: This is a unique blend of sidewall and cap construction. The construction combines the accuracy and power performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.

Metal Laminate: Built with two sheets of lightweight Titanal running the length of the ski, Metal laminate skis are the highest performing and most complex construction available from K2. Built for the base up, a metal laminate construction consists of alternating layers of fibreglass and Titanal above and below the wood core. Metal Laminates provide damp, accurate, unshakeable performance ideal for expert level skiers.

By waxing properly before use, the life of your new skis or board will be prolonged, and it will simply perform better! We offer this service free of charge.

For skis, we will also send you an email asking you to confirm your weight, height, ski ability and the length of your ski boot, which is stamped on the heel of your boot normally.
