Product DescriptionK2 is concentrating on Its Baseline Technology this season and has re-mastered its entire range to push the boundaries of ski performance. With K2's baseline Technology they have combined camber with varying degrees of rocker, proving benefits of each to create a range of superior skis. This allows the camber to supply the edge hold, control and rebound, while rocker provides a greater degree of versatility, ease of use and an increased sweet spot.
All K2's women specific skis use a combination of fir and spruce in a unique core known as 'BioFlex' this allows the ski to be lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, yet sturdy and high performance. Woman's models are also built with the side cut shifted two centremeters forward relative to the standard sidecut for a mens ski. This positions the average woman in an optimum position over the ski for more control and easier turn initiation.
The K2 True Luv is the ultimate tool for the intermediate skier. The lightweight women's specific Bioflex wood core is easy to maneuver. The new All-Terrain Rocker raises the tip to provide effortless initiation from turn to turn. Incorporating the K2 10.0 binding this ski inspires confidence and moves you toward the next level.
Features of the True Luv include:All-terrain Rocker: All-Terrain rocker is the most versatile Baseline available. Featuring an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy and edge hold in firmer conditions.
MOD Technology and MOD Monic: This functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski providing a stronger edge hold and a higher degree of power and control. MOD is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected. They have altered the structure of the Mod Monic (this is the solid zinc mass that works in conjunction with Mod Structure to focus mass damping at a targeted area) for both mens and womens skis. On the mens skis you will now find that the Mod Monic is slightly heavier and X shaped to further compliment the MOD structure form.
Triaxial Braiding: Triaxial Braiding: This consists of braiding fibreglass around a wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control. This Unique, patented method produces skis with great torsional strength, while maintaining the lively flex patterns of the wood core.
Our OpinionA softer ski that will grow with you and allow you to progress from the piste to venturing off-piste if the need arises. Competent skiers may find it slightly too soft and find the Burnin Luv a better option, but those who are a more leisurely skier and not looking for a aggressive ski will find this ideal.

Is This For Me?This ski is specifically designed for intermediates looking for progress towards a more all-mountain ski. We found it was forgiving enough to be used by complete beginners, but is ideally suited for those who have been skiing for a couple of weeks and are now looking enviously towards those having fun in the powder.
PLEASE NOTE: When we sell skis and snowboards, we book them into our workshop for a full clean and wax before shipping. The wax supplied on new boards and skis is NOT suitable for long term use. By waxing properly before use, the life of your new skis or board will be prolonged, and it will simply perform better! We offer this service free of charge.
For skis, we will also send you an email asking you to confirm your weight, height, ski ability and the length of your ski boot, which is stamped on the heel of your boot normally.
