Product Description
The Volkl name is synonymous with alpine ski racing and they have been active in international professional racing since 1970. This has allowed Volkl to develop numerous technical achievements as well as constantly pushing them for real innovation in all their ski models. This has led them to develop the new SPEEDWALL, PROGRESSIVE TECHNOLOGY and POWER SWITCH (INDIVIDUAL) technology for the 2010/11 season.

SENSOR is Volkl's completely new family of comfort and security-oriented carving skis. Turn-happy, sensitive handling - and yet also precise and dynamic. the sidecut is engineered to provide support for novices and intermediate skiers. At 69mm underfoot, the geometry and flexes correspond to the shape and performace of a modern carving ski. The Sensor 2 possess a reliable conbination of POWER GRIP constuction and 3MOTION binding for higher edge pressure and rounder flexing of the ski.

Features of The Sensor 2 ski include:

Wood Core: Using the simple WOOD CORE construction, a wooden core in the central binding area gives the ski additional shock absorption. The result: controlled skiing performance and easy turning from the middle of the skis. Silence and stability - regardless of the terrain and conditions.

Power Grip:: In terms of construction, POWER GRIP achieves more edge pressure in the binding area with its new 3D design. In comparison to the DOUBLE GRIPXTD construction, the ski construction has a slightly lower side wall, which makes the contact between ski boot and edge more direct. In a precise interplay with the 3MOTION binding system, which has been designed especially for POWER GRIP, the ski achieves an optimum relation from the powerful edge grip, rounder flex in the binding area and an athletic, but not overly aggressive nature. More grip for less effort


Our Opinion
This is a relativly soft, forgiving ski that allows you to progress into fast fun carving turns onpiste. If you are an aggressive skier then this ski is not for you, however if you want a ski that performs very well on piste and will forgive the occassional mistake then the Sensor 2 is perfect.

This is for beginner to early intermediate skiers (or those of you who just like taking it easy on the greens and blues). It will help you progress into the parallel turns and if already at the stage it will allow you to improve your techniques so you look a expert on the piste.

By waxing properly before use, the life of your new skis or board will be prolonged, and it will simply perform better! We offer this service free of charge.

For skis, we will also send you an email asking you to confirm your weight, height, ski ability and the length of your ski boot, which is stamped on the heel of your boot normally.
