WORKSHOP TUITION - LEARN WINTER SPORTS DIY

Have you ever wondered how a ski or board is serviced? Have you wanted to touch up your equipment in the middle of a holiday rather than relying on an in-resort service? Or do you want to learn enough to be able to service your own skis or board?

Well, our hugely popular workshop tuition sessions are exactly what you need!

Strictly by appointment only, we offer this service with a limited number of slots available through the season, as we use the full workshop facility to give you the chance to see first hand all the processes involved.

If you arrange a service with tuition, this is what will be involved:

- We will flick the kettle on and start with a nice cup of tea
- We ascertain what you wish to learn tailoring the time to suit your needs and your equipment
- We then introduce the tools and consumables used
- A full service takes place from identifying issues through to final polish
- We then help identify products that would suit your needs if you decide to try servicing for yourself, from range of tools.

We charge a flat fee of £75 per person in addition to any service charge, to cover our time and additional materials involved. If you have equipment do bring it for servicing, as then you will see exactly how the process works on your own skis or board.

Most of our 'students' are here to learn how to do their own servicing, and we can discuss the various tools required for home or in-resort servicing, from the tried and tested selection of products that we carry in stock.

Hand servicing and tuning with tuition takes a little longer as we explain the methods and answer your questions, so please allow 2-3 hours minimum for a tuition booking.

Appointments are normally available evenings and weekends so ideal for those who have busy daytimes.
